Mrs. Mott is very excited to be the new full-time School Counselor at Smyrna Primary School. This is her 6th year working as a school counselor in Middle Tennessee. Mrs. Mott will be working closely with the teachers and administration to develop and implement a program that meets the needs of all SPS students. She is also available to provide responsive services and support for students dealing with social-emotional challenges or experiencing a crisis.

Jennifer Trew
Ms. Trew is the part-time School Counselor for grades kindergarten through 3rd. She believes education is the best chance a child has who must rise above challenging circumstances and knows the elementary years are foundational. She values the tender place that parents face when their child has experienced trauma, has difficulty managing feelings, adapting, and in need of development of coping and regulation skills.
